Chinchero and Urquillo Trek - Full Day

This short hike is one of the most requested, because you can visit part of the Sacred Valley, with a spectacular view of the mountains of salkantay and Chicon, also you could visit a colonial church and Inca terraces, after visiting the walk that is part of the Inca trail starts, all downhill until you reach Urquillo, on the way we see birds, native plants and you will feel a unique peace, with the sounds of birds and the river down there, reaching Urquillo part of the sacred valley cornfields. after the van waiting for us to head to Ollantaytambo, and visit this impressive Inca monument. then train to Machu Picchu.


Early in the morning your guide will pick you up from your hotel and travel by private car to the town of Chinchero (3,850 m.s.n.m), will begin with a visit to Colonial temple built on Inca foundations, we will visit the archaeological site and the Inca terraces. After this visit we will go to Urquillos along an ancient Inca Trail that joins Chinchero. We'll see along the way, different Inca buildings, old colonial houses and small towns. Arriving at Urquillos, take the route to Huayllabamba where our transportation will be waiting to take us to Ollantaytambo where we will visit this beautiful place, then we will take our train to take us to Aguas Calientes - Machu Piccchu

We leave our hotel after a very early breakfast to take the bus for the journey up to Machu Picchu ruins. Once inside the citadel, we are provided a 3 hour guided tour with plenty of free time for further exploring, taking photos and the option to climb Huayna Picchu or go up to the Sun Gate. Then back to Aguas Calientes and 16:22 we take our return train to Ollantaytambo with a bus connection to Cusco, arriving at your hotel in the evening.
